or lay on the floor and scream and kick too... ( did this once.. ) my lad never actually had a temper tantrum in a public place again

I've done that too didn't stop all tantrums from my daughter, she has meltdowns instead now but worked a treat with my son.

My children and grandchildren were taught from a very early age that screaming is reserved for times when they are in immediate danger and need an adult to save them.

My son was never a screamer. He through a couple of tantrums in public when he was two or three i just stood back and let him get on with it then carried on as normal, soon learn it wont get them anywhere. I wouldnt have took him anywhere if he had screamed
