Has anyone read this? I had a flick through it the other day and whilst it is probably epic on stage, it looks to be a really bad read as an actual book.

I haven't read it yet but the regular squeeze has and he loved it. Stayed up too late to finish it as well, which is a good sign.

Yes. It surprised me. I thought it couldn't possibly work without Rowland's background narrative. But it did. Very strong story. Enjoyed it very much.
