Am I wrong in thinking meeting new people is what Fabswingers is mainly about along with chat etc , but all that cyber stuff is not for me. So I am only here for the meet aspect but recently have come across so many letdowns.
Why do some go all cold when you mention
'Lets meet'?

maybe its a case of where "lets meet" becomes "being pushy" in there eyes...
as a single bloke, and with all people I let them suggest the "lets meet" stuff, that way I am more happy they are comfortable with the idea of meeting....
does it mean I probably miss out on meets because I am not as forward as others... sure...
does it mean that less people "go cold"... probably....

You're having a bit of a tough old time aren't you?!! 
How are you going about your selection of potential meets? i ask because there has to come a point when you can't blame the other person all the time, you need to take stock of how you go about things.

maybe its a case of where "lets meet" becomes "being pushy" in there eyes...

That is spot on Fabio.
We need to be happy that the person or persons we are going to meet are right for us, and that may involve a few emails, and then a meet for a drink, long before we get near the bedroom.
Hence why the "fancy a shag?" messages get deleted....  |

The day I only have 3 words like Fancy a shag to type in a message , I will hang my head in shame and leave fabswingers. Some of us single males are a lot more refined.

In the scheme of things the "fancy a shag?" messages have turned out to be actually quite well written.
That is compared to "wont 2 fuk", "u luk gud" and "am free now" opening messages.

Not waiting for anyone to agree or disagree we all have had our experiences on here,I am just sharing my experience of the site.
After being on here for a while I know there is not a right way or a wrong way to go about things.Sometimes its just about timing it just right to get a meet.
