Makka Pakka for me everytime, his character is so multi layered. Plus I believe he is the first ever childrens' TV character to suffer from multiple OCD's.
Ahhhh what I wouldn't give to have my face washed by him. Or even spend an afternoon arranging stones.

I've started to talk to grown ups like I'm Justin/Mr Tumble (They are the same person you know  ).
I even shout LOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKK and do the two fingers sign language he does.

When my lad was younger I loved it, now I feel the urge to shout obscenities at the screen whenever it's on.
Even the odd glimpse of the Wottingers or the odd Tiddle is no longer enough to excite my jaded mind.
Will Igglepiggle ever show Upsy Daisy where he hides his bell? Who the hell pays for the bill from the Troublyphone? Just what is the secret of perspective and variable volume possessed by the Nincky Nonk and Pinky Ponk? Does Makka Pakka take medication for his condition?

I have "Arthur" on my Sky planner  so I do venture into the murky world of CBeebies, but I've never come across In the Night Garden.
My "baby" is now 19 and at uni and her and her friends are great fans of Rastamouse - another programme I'd never heard of until these forums...blimey the things you learn!
That said, one of the last conversations I had with my daughter before she returned to uni was not about Nietzche or Sartre but why had Nickleodean taken off Rugrats, Hey! Arnold and Santa Bugito, and why had the BBC commissioned the new look Fireman Sam and Postman Pat! |

It wasn't dubbed or anything, it was all real. It was for a studio christmas party and they made video tapes to hand out as presents. |
