I do send messages first, but usually only because of something they've written in the forums.
If I was looking for a meet, I would only message men with public pics. |

A first message from a woman... ok I've stopped laughing now. I'd like a reply from the messages I send, no chance of one from a woman first. I think I only appeal to a select few trouble is none of them are on here lol  |

Only ever get mail from boys. No ! That's a lie; about a month ago a women wrote to say , the guy she's fucking is pierced too.

I don't message first because I rarely find anyone to message as I don't meet local men. Scrolling through hundreds of profiles on my phone gives me a headache and eye socket pain. |

Men make an awful lot of messages but this is due to them being in a majority and it being a competitive 'market' between them all. By volume they'll make the most but many of us prefer to make the first contact, when we notice somebody who appears to fit our requirements - most of my friends do this, so think it's fairly general across the users who aren't male.
But men will on average notice that they're making more first contacts than receiving, just because they're outnumbered.
As ever, this emphasises the importance of having a great profile, so that we can find you, like you and contact you - as well as looking at your profile, whenever you've sent us a message, to get a feel for you. |

Pretty rare for us tbh, might get a wink or two, Think the only first contact from a female was just to compliment H on her hair.
Other than that it has always been us first..
I think the rejection comment above is probably quite close to the truth. You can't "feel" wanted if it's you doing the chasing..doesn't apply to anything like all, bit definitely applies to some..
