"It's maybe the 'happy to meet for a beer' followed by the 'don't drink' bit which sows confusion of others' minds.
Seems a bit unjustified but you can never tell what people are thinking "
Good point I never even thought about that. Thank you |

don't worry about it mate... I don't drink when I am on a meet either, and if this is the best excuse they can come up with, then it is their loss....... |

Never thought about it before now and dont think it would make much difference to me.
If you meet a guy who is driving to yours or a club and then have to drive back then its the norm.
Well i hope it is anyways.
If he isnt driving and fancies a tipple then so be it .
Tell them your driving and dont and i cant see it bieng a problem hun

Of course it isn't a problem, neither should it be seen as a problem by anyone.
If you don't drink - you don't drink - doesn't make you any less of a human being
It's a bit like saying that I'm not normal because I don't drink milk |

I have been teetotal for nearly 10 years ever since i became a father. there is nothing wrong with not drinking and any one who thinks otherwise is not the sort of person we would want to meet. and as my mandy says where i dont drink it means i can drive to the off licence to buy her more when she runs out lol |

I usually drink when I go out, but not before a meet. For one I don't want anything in my system that may affect performance, even if by the tiniest amount. But mainly because I want to enjoy the whole experience, including the nervous anticipation, with out it being dulled. |
