Dear Chums

Pooch and I were wandering this morning; it is a beautiful day the sun is doing its best to shine through. We were in the woods my wireless tuned to BBC Six Music. As we walked through the dappled light of the trees on the woodland floor as song came on.

Its slipped me back in time to another place, a previous fab incarnation five years ago. A walk in the park with someone, one of the best days I have ever had. No names no pack drill, just to say it was one of the happiest moments of my life.

(If you’re out there you know who you are and not a day goes by Cariad, I still have everything you gave me, I was always a hoarder lol and crap at throwing things away)

It’s sometimes good to slip back and reminisce

So what songs make you think of happy days and past memories?

Mine,,,,, Two of Us. Aimee Mann and Michael Penn

As much as it broke my heart, this song reminds me of the first and only time I have fallen in Love, it reminds me that love exists and I am capable of it.

My anthem. Everytime I hear it something good is always happening. New memories get attached all the time. I also do a mean Tina impression - you know the bit where she always looks like she smelled a fart? Yeah. Totally nailed it.

Tina Turner - Proud Mary

Eric Carmen - Hungry Eyes: http://youtu.be/2ssCL292DQA

And this just came up on shuffle... it reminds me of drinking cocktails in a bar on my last birthday with the old boyfriend. I caught him singing along under his breath and it turned out he's a secret Dirty Dancing fan

Introduced H to Everlast when we met & Black Jesus is firmly embedded in our mind & hearts.

Still love his stuff & saw him live a couple of years ago in London where he didn't disapoint.
