We received lots of messages from folks showing a genuine interest in our profile as well as peeps we know asking how we are and getting up to date.
It was really thoughtful to of all those who messaged me when I became a grandma not so long ago.
We think Fab is great and the peeps who use it. xxx
Do others have these positive experiences? (so many moans, so none on here please - go to the moaning threads) |

Ive made loads of mates re messages and half dont come onto the forums cuz they think you lot are mad as hatters.  
I have explained that im the only sane one around and they know this to be true
Had some lovely messages of folk
Oh and ps...i still cant kin sleep  |

There are some very kind and thoughtful people on site. I've had lovely messages from people when I've posted about the death of my son. Others saying my posts about the excellent relationship betwen my ex-husband and I gave them hope. One poster offered to help my daughter out financially if she ever got stuck as she's in uni in their neck of the woods.
I've even met up socially with people who've commented on my forum post. People who I'll never play with or they with me, but great company over a Peroni! |

I agree. I often send and receive messages from folk off here to just say hello or ask if things are okay, often people I've never met or are likely to meet.
It's a great little community like that, it's helped distract me from some crappy real life a few times.

Yup.......... I am a very gay chap on here.. love it all.
but mostly the chuckles that some others give me with their bleating.
and some truly lovely people, some not so lovely but I wish them well in life.
and not forgetting, the ones beyond any help |

Some of the private messages I get are even funnier than the comments passed in the forums. I love the support the tenderness and the humour people express. They are the ones that make any rude abusive mail pale into in-signification. Thank you fabby friends all those I have met, those I have yet to meet, and those I won't meet in person but share a meeting of minds with. Xxx |

i agree we get some nice messages, and have made some lovely friends on here, havnt been on forums that long but have had few private messages from some and and been made to feel welcome, even if we are never going to meet some, and hopefully through time will make mor good friends here. As someone else said it is like a community |

when i was stalked though here i had some great support and some great advice i did delete my old profile and start again and since then im not si guliable

I am having a hairy time of it at the moment and rushed off my feet and a girl I know from the site (doesnt use the forums) collected a cake stand for me, drove all the way down to York to deliver it and wouldnt even take petrol money from me. Thats real kindness which will be rewarded.
I have been listened to by many PM friends too since my loss and their support has been invaluable especially the phone calls xxxxx Thank you so much xxx |

Oh yes, life is good and this site is Fab!! a message along the lines of..."I know we will never meet but just wanted to say" etc, etc and then they go on to compliment your profile are lovely messages....but even after a long time of being a member on here, a few non expected words are surprisingly nice....I received such last night....thank you, you know who you are. |
