Brighton - even Hove!

It's a load of bollocks. No one will sue anyone and the shit profiles I see with the warning on? Only a fool would copy them anyway.

They did some sort of research thing linked to fab I think about 4 yeas ago. The warning is ridiculous has no legal standing and (for me) really off putting when I see it as it makes those who post it look like dumb sheep.

This exactly!

You look at a guys profile - see a few paragraphs - think it might actually have some substance to it - and realise about 3/4 of it is about Sydney university!! Instant put-off!!

If I see this on a profile or one of the others similar it certainly puts me off a bit.

It's a small proportion of profiles with it on. It is a "dickhead" flag....I just avoid them!

Nearly everyone has it?

Really?

Most of the profiles I read don't.

Chinese whispers, fab 4 yrs ago, aff 8 years ago.

Quite a coincedence that i'm actually doing a study on sydney university. If you go on their site, their disclaimer reads "To _ngel n ted, you do not have the right...blah blah blah". I've heard other universities use that as a filter

I like it when it's folk saying "DO NOT STEAL MY PICS" when nobody in their right mind would want to anyway.

Only those with a low level of intelliegence would post such a warning on their profile .

Ignoring the costs of taking legal action , you would of course generate even more unwanted publicity by commencing legal proceedings .

I addition you are also wasting space on fabs servers
