Right this ISNT a "look at me" thread but I do need some help.
Im not photogenic and look better in person. For example if you were infront of me and took two pics o e after the other both will look different and not like me.
Does anyone have any tips for getting decent pics apart from having a professional pboto shoot? |

Nothing wrong with the pics you're showing in your gallery - I like the B&W most.
You're not unusual at all - everyone is different in their attitude to the camera at every different second, that's why a range of pics is useful. Otherwise you'd get called a mannequin lol |

I have the opposite issue. I look better in my pics than real life (can anyone help me with THAT!?) and I have to take about 20 pics until I find one I'm happy with
You look OK in your pics OP, I'm sure the ladies are very keen |

Pay attention to detail.
What is around you? Will it compliment your picture.
Look at the camera lens. Imagine it is a person. What are your eyes and mouth trying to say?
Black & white helps to get rid of any useless details. Simplifies the colour palate.
And PLEASE, no aerosol / remote control pics...

Thank you. That photo is about 2 months old now and probably the best pic of me ive ever had. But the hair is long and ive had a haircut since then.
Uploaded the latest one today which is my new profile pic. |

I find the best photo's are often the ones you don't realise are being taken, your natural and not trying to pose or anything.
A little hard to organise you can't exactly have someone follow you around and catch you off guard so if you haven't any of them sort of pics try an create a pic were your simply not trying, no stupid grins or anything just a relaxed smile with a neutral background and sensible clothing. |
