Cycling to work this morning, I noticed a car infront of me had a flat tyre, pulled along side it and made the driver aware, she wasn't best pleased, "oh no, I've never changed a tyre before", she was beginning to flap a bit, so I said "if you have the tyre and tools I'll do it for you".
She pulled to the side, I changed her tyre for her and she was proper happy, she offered me a tenner for the job which I refused and said, just happy to have helped, enjoy the rest of your day.
She couldn't thank me enough and it really has put me on a high now.  |

Nice one OP 
When I passed my test my Dad made me change the tyre on the car and wouldn't let me out on my own until I could.
Maybe it should be part of the test |

I did that a few weeks back. The woman was going to wait at the side of the road for nearly 2 and a half hours till husband finished work and got there. 
Never undersold why anybody wouldn't want to learn the bare basics of maintenance for vehicles, instead of being dependent on others. I talked her through it rather than just do it for her, I was shown when I was 8 or 9. It's not rocket science, hardest part is usually getting the wheel nuts loosened off to start with!  |

No, go for the green with dayglo pink budgie smugglers outside like a true super hero and don't forget to paint the helmet to match so the other road users can see you when working at the roadside.
