So, if you put a thread up, how do you treat it? Mrs likes to nurture hers, adding to it, thanking people and generally engaging with the forum....I tend to just post them and let them either wither or forge a life of their own

This is apparently because she is a caring, nurturing person, and I,m a "git"

So how do you tend yours??

I reply to every single comment. I don't want anyone to feel left out or that their comments don't matter.

I rarely start threads but if I do I try to at least acknowledge replies generally if not individually, there are some responses though that are best ignored for the sake of harmony

I put one up recently, it picked up a lot more replies than I thought it would. I did reply to some and I thanked everyone for their comments. It didn't run how I had intended though. XXX

Depends what its about. Sone i completely forget about, sone i add an odd comment and some i use to debate what people are saying.

I dont think i ever reply to everyone on the thread
