I'm sat with my mum's cat, Lily, and she's pulled the sofa throw down to make a nest to snuggle against my hip for a stroke and a fuss... but she's fallen asleep mid-purr. She's not an unfriendly cat but she's only affectionate when she wants something, normally 
What do your pets do to make you go "awwwww"? |

Sounds like me.
One of the rats I had, when she uses to clean her belly, would get a bit overzealous and fall over. Every. Time.
I also used to sing 'isn't she chubbly' to her. |

One of my dogs gives me daily cuddles, she climbs on me and put her front paws on each shoulder and snuggles her face into my neck, she stays like that for a bit then climbs off, she gives good hugs  |

Weve got 3 dogs and Rosie is going blind, but on a morning when they get their biscuit,,Elsa our little dog nudges Rosie's biscuit towards her so she can find it easily , Melts my heart every morning. She is a little twat the rest of the day though |

Sounds like me.

My dog made me laugh yesterday
He had jumped up in the kitchen side and pinched a French loaf my daugher had left out
I don't think he realised anybody was I'm the living room because in he plodded looking all pleased with himself with half a French loaf sticking out each side of his mouth but when he saw me he just froze in the door, without breaking eye contact he opened his mouth, dropped the loaf and slowly started backing out the room |

I've just got a kitten yesterday who is just tiny.
He's spent yesterday under the sofa and he's now just come out.
I have a Maine Coon which is huge and he's not sure about the kitten.
I think they'll be friends. X |

Aww they will, it just takes time.
When we got a new kitten he was very scared and hissed at everything and everyone. The older cat wanted to be friends straight away but he was patient and let the kitten come to him. They were snuggled up together within a week |

when my dog has got his cuddly toy tend to get a lot of people going, although this is her sex teddy so it is usually promptly followed by a bit of doggy style. doesn't quite get the same reaction. |

I think we both put a downer on the thread  sorry people! I just know how cruel people can be and it upsets me. One of mine had to have her tail amputated after some fucker pulled it so hard it broke in 3 places and burnt her ears and paws |

Oh yeah, I spent 3 hours yesterday retrieving a kitten from a rabbit burrow. Miles from any houses and not feral so looks like it was dumped, but hrs safe now.x |

As they have both gone missing at the same is it possible they were together and have gotten stuck somewhere, like someone's garage or shed if a door was closed when they were hiding in there? You could try leafleting your area and asking people to check their sheds. |
