We are blessed to have two wonderful actors, both were up for an Oscar at the same time and Redmayne got it for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything over Cumberbatch's portrayal of Alan Turing in the Imitation Game.
I personally thought Cumberbatch gave the better performance, but who did you prefer?

Hard one.
Theory of everything had me crying like a little girl all whole way through the movie.... 
But I loved the imitation game. Love the intensity that Cumberbatch gave to the role.But then I don't think he can do anything wrong, love him!,  |
