Verbalising every single thought!!

Does anyone else know someone who does this??
My mum (who is obviously feeling a lot better today) does it and it's so draining!!
You can be having a conversation with her when all if a sudden a thought will come in hee head (usually about her dog) and she just has to say it there and then.
We can be discussing the criminal justice system (fun times in our house) when all of a sudden she'll just blurt out 'my little dog is so beautiful!'. I find it inc_edibly rude and often tell her about it but it's like a tick or something and she can't stop herself!
Just a couple more hours to go!!! |

"Does sound like something involuntary - I doubt she is actually trying to be rude - unless your normal conversations are inc_edibly boring."
I like to think I have a scintillating personality and sparkling conversational skills
She also has the need to plan and plan and plan what we are going to do....she spends so long planning there is no time to do anything lol |

"Try and be a bit more sensitive x
How do you mean? "
Your mum is either doing it for a reason or has no control over it....it can't be nice for her to see you getting pissed off or telling her every time she does it.....might be draining for you but don't imagine it's very nice for her either x |

I don't tell her everytime and I am not nasty when I do bring it up. We have a laugh about it and she know she does it anyway as other people have also said about it. |

Had a recent case where an electrician was to install a new entry phone system, and he walked through the building talking to himself and explaining each and every problem and solution for the fit out....I was like shut up and just do it ! |

As much as you probably all love or loved your mums, it doesn't mean they are perfect.
I have a relative who does the same Evie, They can't be listening to what you are saying at the time or disregard what you are saying and change the subject. |

It MIGHT be her hearing is starting to go. In the early stages the ability to be part of a conversation go, even when they can cope face to face.
My Dad does this but it's because he isn't really hearing the conversation and occasionally starts his own in the middle of mine
It's good to laugh and enjoy the quirk.

Worryingly I've noticed that I sometime repeat myself in conversations and I can hear myself doing it but somehow I can't stop myself....onset of premature age related muppetry |

Thanks rugby. I do understand that people have lost their parents but it doesn't mean I can't moan about mine. I love her dearly and would defend hee if anyone else said anything bad about her but she can be annoying |
