Our Estate had lots of street parties, like pretty much every street! A few neighbours had to come to ours to watch it as they still had b&w tellys. wow, hard to credit that was only 35 yrs ago

Just remembered, when Diana died (was murdered delete as you find....) my friend worked in a video store (remember those, kids?!) and on the DAY of her funeral, someone came in and rented the wedding video!!!

(why TF the store had a copy was always beyond me)

i wasnt interested in watching the wedding and didnt think much of her wedding dress but i did used to like seeing pictures of princess di in the magazines.
