How come you chat, then get blocked?!

I mean, you're chatting away, nothing untoward other than the deprivation of what we are all here for... And then after they have suggested meeting up, you agree... Then boom! Blocked! I just don't get it... If you don't want to meet up then just state it... Honesty is the best policy... Not a rant just a question of does anyone else get this?

They may have missed something on your profile and then suddenly have a change of heart.

It happens to everyone at some point i imagine.

Because some people don't take rejection well and turn abusive or stalkerish.

Don't take it personally.

And there you were oblivious to it all. It's a symptom of sex deprivation.

Maybe you offended them in some way and they never had any intention of meeting you. They may have just been humouring you until you was sucked in then did the dirty.

Just a suggestion.

He was the rejected one. Then, having no way of saying something to them had to resort to the forum.

What can we learn from this people?

Well I guess the learning point I've taken away is to give a guy a break on his first ever forum post. He was asking if it happens to other people and that he wasn't ranting. Fair enough, sounds reasonable to me.

So OP, yes it does happen. People block for many reasons, I've had a really nice message sent at 2am when I was asleep, read as soon as I awoke only to find I was blocked!

It's part of Fab, people are strange, don't let it get you down and keep smiling. Good luck fella

Oh don't get me wrong folks, I'm not bothered by it haha, nor am I going to start throwing names around... Just wondered if this was a common thug or indeed you are all right... Something I've done or said... Or indeed something was missed before on my profile... Either way like I say, it was just a curious question

I meant that because people have had bad experiences of turning someone down in the past, they go straight to blocking now.

I suppose as usual we're assuming that since it's a single male asking, he must be the one at fault?

Nah.. I'm not assuming that I just responded cos a q was asked. A true and honest answer would cover half the internet - so I didn't go there.

I knew what you meant and it is a valid point.
