"Last night. I had Gateaux at about 1am I like the cut of your jib squire "
That's the second time in three days someone has said they like the cut of my jib. It's made me strangely happy. |

"Last night. I had Gateaux at about 1am
That was this morning then, not last night "
Night is the period of darkness between dusk and dawn.
Both technically correct.

I can't remember actually eating any but it would have been birthday cake at the beginning of July. I must have had some because they make a thing about cake on birthdays. |

"Called in to see my neighbour this morning and we had a cuppa and a slice of Home made Ginger cake and it was yummy "
The sound of that makes my mouth water but the last cake I ate was a space cake... last week, I think! Lol |

I had a very unusual cake at lunchtime: Chocolate and vanilla marble sponge base, a layer of redcurrants, a layer of meringue, all topped off with chunks of shortbreadish stuff. The 'lady of the hice' gave some redcurrants to one of her cleaners and this is what she did with them.

I think it was about 3 weeks ago. Some gorgeous specimen baked me a batch of chocolate brownies (that's how you lure a fat girl into bed you know). They were damn good too although I got a ticking off for eating one for brekkie at about 7am |
