Have you ever sent a text to the wrong person, with embarrassing consequences. Ive sent texts to the wrong person quite often, but none of them have been embarrassing.
I have had a text sent to me though which was awful. Me and my ex were on the last legs of our relationship, you know when you know the end is nigh but you're both at the hanging on with fingernails stage.
He used to text me every morning from work, they used to be lovey dovey and romantic, but had got to the stage of just good morning. I received the obligatory text, then a few seconds later received another one. I opened it to read, "Good morning beautiful, I can hardly wait to hold you in my arms for the first time tonight".
Obviously "we" ended about 5 minutes after reading the text.
We are friends still, this was over 8 years ago, but I couldnt help laugh at him when he made the same mistake with girlfriend no 3 by getting caught out with an email to the wrong woman this time.  |

I sent a text to my old boss saying something that included an mmf and a bit of dp.....he just showed me the text when i saw him, i hadnt realised til then....VERY embarrassing  |

I have sent a text meant for my partner to my financial adviser (same first name) - even now some 3 years on... I dont want to remember how I felt when I had a text back saying "I don't believe this was meant for me" |

I have even met the wrong guy off here doing so.
The last wrong text I sent was last Saturday morning to someone off here, saying am awake now so come round am ready for you |

My husband sent me a text when he was working away from home once. It said something like "I so want to feel my cock in your throat!" or words to that effect. Unfortunately, he sent it to my work phone number so when my boss checked the messages in the morning, the computer voice of a text message gave her the shock of her life!! She let me listen to it, claiming that she was going to report it so I had to tell her that I recognised the number!! |

the only time ive sent a text to the wrong person was when my husband and i were splitting up. My best friend had text me to see if i was ok, i thought id sent her a long text explaining what a shit he was.....I'd actually sent it to him by accident!!!
Oh well, the divorce went through quite quickly after that!!

I like it when a computer voice says a rude word. One night me and my friend acted liked kids and spent all night texting each others landlines with filthy words.

Weird!!! I got a text my estranged wife intended to send her best friend. It read;
"I just can't tell him. He would be devastated. I don't love him but I feel so sorry for him. If he knew about me and X it would destroy him".

Sent a very rude joke to my father in law by mistake and he rang...I passed the phone to hubby! lol
Have had problems with my HTC Desire sending texts to the wrong person though and not the one in the thread...was a bit embarassing a couple of times!  |

Thought I was inviting my son to pop in and to have a nightcap with me, had just opened a fine malt....turned out I had sent it to a guy from fab, after a confusing text conversation I texed....this is not my son is it?
Still, could have been worse, could have sent a text to my son instead of a playmate. |
