i probably would not but only because i don't have enough info to make an informed decision.
hope you don't get any grief for being honest though and wish you well. |

The irony is, people would probably be at less risk playing with someone they knew to be HIV+ as they'd be exceedingly cautious than what they probably are with someone that they don't know their HIV status... They can always have PrEP!! Reassurance and information is key!!
As this OP has stated it was a one-night-stand and he made a silly mistake!! Kudos to you for being so honest and a lesson to everyone to watch your sexual health.. I recently had a scare and never again will I be so trusting or flippant. Xx |

I'm another that applauds your honesty
I'm ashamed to say I don't know enough about the changes in the way HV is treated or medical breakthroughs to make a decision so couldn't honestly answer your question |

I really do not know how to answer this OP!
I have tried to type a few replies but all seem irrelevant!
I only hope treatment goes well and somehow a meet/relationship works out...
HIV does not define who you are as a person....
Best Wishes |

Someone who's got a near undetectable viral load is about as safe as someone who's negative. We all could have been playing with you op and not had anything to be bothered about at all, by practicing safer sex. People who don't know their status and assume they're negative may be a much different situation.
I'd assess things by the person, not a label. |

exactly easier to practice safe sex when u know than not know other peoples history |

I have a good understanding of both the virus, and the medication. An undetectable load means there's almost no chance of transmission even without using protection.
But who wouldn't use protection when using a site like this? (I know some actively seek it, but to me that's moronic)
So, to answer your question, I would be utterly delighted with your honesty and it wouldn't stop me from sleeping with you.
I really wish more was done to educate the general public on the reality of HIV, and how far we have come in the treatment of it.
Good luck with everything |
