Someone has stolen a few of our pix and put them on craigslist.

At my wits end trying to have them removed for 6 weeks.

Any advice gratefully received..

Forget about it? Who uses craigslist, they'll only be seen by the person who stole them when they view their own profile.

You can report the post on that site too, by clicking "prohibited" on the top left corner of the post, which automatically takes the ad from the site.

The site owner is a pretty decent guy, over in the USA. Have you spoken to their support? I'd write to him, if they don't help you as he's approachable and supportive- plus wants it to be a decent site.

It usually takes a few people to report ads, via that feature. So I'd get some friends to report the same page this way.

You could just ask us nicely .

Seriously though, wouldn't worry about it too much. We left this site about a year ago and about 6 months later had some friends we met here WhatsApp us asking if we were back on .

Turns out someone created a profile using our pics from before . Cyberspaceland rules .

Indeed the only true way to avoid the clutches of MI5 is to keep your s**t off the tinterweb .

GET PHOTOS REMOVED FROM ELSEWHERE

If your photos have been mis-used most sites have what is called a DMCA takedown policy. This allows the copyright owner to demand they are removed. Google sitename + dmca and you'll get a page for removing content eg

STOP THIS HAPPENING TO YOU

If you'd be upset if some idiot mis-uses your photos then common sense advice is NOT to add them here or anywhere online! Once someone can view a photo, there’s nothing to stop them saving it and mis-using it.

Awesome little bit of knowledge and advice there Mrs kk . Honestly though, we don't really care too much. We have been putting raunchy stuff online for years but aren't stupid enough to make it recognisable to anyone but our bestest of naughty friends .

Maybe that's a good little bit of advice too.... if peeps can tell it's you then don't put it on the WORLD wide web.
