You don't need to take any music, all these states have amazing rock and country channels, just tune in on radio

I have travelled all of these roads many times, like my 2nd home.

We have a month, so it will be awesome. We spent a week in LA, a couple of years ago, then flew to Las Vegas and followed that with a road trip, and a couple of weeks, in Colorado.
Camera wise we'll be packing a D200, a D2X, a trusty old F5 and a 1J2. |

Spoiled only by near constant advertising and a play list that does, sometimes, feel repetitive.
We've taken CDs in the past to get a break from the radio; new tech replaces the CDs.
Sandman recalls driving North, through Wyoming and Montana, with his car radio only able to pick up Bible stations.

Sandman Slim is, definitely, a real anti-hero. Books five and six were not, anywhere, near as good as the first four. We're hoping for a film!

Well we did it, and we had all of the tracks and albums that you recommended.
4000 miles in just over 4 weeks; incredible scenery, the hood was retracted for most of the drive and we had a freaking ball.
One of the best drives was from Bad Water Basin in Death Valley 86 m below sea level and 35C (in November) to 2103 m above sea level with snow and 0C at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe.
No bible music this trip but we did find only one radio station whilst driving through the giant Redwoods; an hour of conspiracy theories, chem trails and a phone in. Weird didn't describe it.
