Is anyone running the London marathon or BUPA 10k in may?. Im not yet fit enough to run a marathon but have entered the BUPA 10k for the second time.

I'm not doing the bupa but got a couple of 10k and a couple of halves planned.

I'd need BUPA if I had to walk to the end of the street. I admire anyone who trains for these sorts of events. Kudos and well done to you all xxx

Have done the GNR for the past 2 years and will be doing it again this year.

Would love to do a marathon, but just ain't fit enough at the moment.

Next year ? who knows ?

Then again, next year I'll be 51, so maybe not

i know a guy who's in his seventies and regularly does the half so no excuses

Doing it myself this year be my 7th just started training and definitely need to shift some weight

I did think about it...but then thought NO....

Didnt wanna beat all them good runners. Would have hurt them to much

10k is manageable even if you are not totally fit. You can walk it if you have to in well under 3 hrs.
