Kissing bearded guys and having beard in contact with your skin can irritate it, so I generally prefer someone who's shaven. Stubble can be like a sandpaper effect l. And in hot weather it's often worse. |

Stubble can be like sandpaper. Short beards can sometimes "spike" you as an ex use to say. The longer the beard, usually the softer it gets. Esp as big beards get conditioned like you wouldn't believe. Lol |

Currently growing one at Ms G's request as she's been wondering what I'd look like with one for years (and has more than a bit of a thing for them!!) - have to say I'm getting quite attached to it (but don't tell Ms G....oh wait!! ).

"Eh, at this point, I see a beard,I think "fashion-victim".
I didn't realise beards were only invented in the last 5 years.
"
20 years ago, beards were uncommon. |

I vary between smooth all over through to full beard and everything in between. When working away I let it get massive - but remain smooth everywhere else at all times. I have had both good and bad comments on my trimmed beard but few compliments on my overgrown face fuzz (pic on profile) |

They were very common in the 1970s, they tend to be cyclical |

"As a bearded guy, I do get a lot on here saying "shave, and we 'll talk".
What's the general consensus? Facial hair a no go?"
Personally I like a nice tidy beard, even better if theres a couple of tattoos as well!
It's your beard and I don't see why you should have to shave to meet someone on here, no different from someone telling me to cover up my tattoos to meet. It aint happening! They either want to meet YOU or they don't! |
