Cold baths - get in a warmer bath and add cold water, staying in as long as you can. This will really cool you.
Wear cotton/natual fabrics. Only 100% cotton on the bed, as synthetics/mixes will cause localised heat generation.
Run your wrists under cold water: this helps cool the body too.
Visit supermarkets and linger around the coolers - hurry, most are shutting soon.
Hot water bottle filled with icy water, taken to bed.
Keep stuff overnight near to your bed in a cool box: easy to get out and still cold.
Cold flannels/towels will also cool you down.
Ice packs - wrapped - applied to your body. |
