Sick of these companies ringing my house phone,i counted yesterday and it was 38 calls all wanting to sell me something or change to their company ,and I'm ex directory but it dosent seem to make any difference these days  |

Join the Telephone Preference Service. It is free and almost eliminates cold calls. I used to get a few each week. Now it is only one in a blue moon. |

I've still got a landline, i never give out the number so also never answer it. Idk who calls me several times a day but 39 times seems a bit excessive.  |

On the rare occasion that I get a cold call, I ask them to repeat the name of their company and then explain I am registered with TFS and will be reporting them. They invariably hang up at that point.
I suppose I get less fun now in winding them up but less calls, too. |
