133 Days Of Weight Loss

Well, I have 133 Days left to my membership and I plan to sensibly lose as much weight as possible during that time through exercise and modified eating regimes.

Anyone want to join me? Even at 1 lb a week that is 19lbs.

From a food point of view give up sweet stuff which is my downfall. From an exercise point of view I have a Concept 2 Rower, a bike and kettlebells.

Work gets in the way for me but I think I can make a significant impact. I am not expecting it to be easy as I put muscle on fast and that is more dense than the fat imam losing so that will make weight loss appear slow.

Give up all sugar and carbs, stick to protein and fat, the weight will fall off

You can have a 'I'm about to die' workout in 20 minutes without any need for equipment. Look up tabata training.

Wanking in this heat is a good way to do cardio

Well done curvy. I'm not trying to be a guru, just realistic and not into the group shaming of weight loss groups.

With muscle being more dense than fat, maybe work on inches rather than pounds?!?!

Can't say that I've ever felt 'shamed' at a group weigh in.

The pic of me all in white on my profile posted Jan 2015 was after I lost 7 stone from July 2014

I done it by cutting all sugaree things out of diet drinking loads of water and eating one meal a day with exercise.

I really was over 22 stone and lost a total of 8.5 stone

I have met women who were so afraid of the judgement at weigh in they would remove their underwear or not eat or drink that whole day.

If you watch programs like Biggest Loser they tend to try and fill the gap with muscle.

You need to eat healthy and exercise at the same time and make sure it is a journey not a race. Make the exercise something you can sustain like swimming or walking or cycling or classes. Make it something you enjoy not endure. You need to make diet and exercise part of your lifestyle not a phase to maintain your hard work

i'd like to get my stomach flatter.

if i breathe in it looks smaller, does this mean if i exercise there the muscle tone will go like i'm breathing in?

Well I lost loads of weight last year and did plenty of excercise but couldn't get rid of the lose skin

I ate healthy so did everything right

I put it down to age...lol

It's hard working all hours then thinking about going swimming or cycling

Excercise bike and hoola hoop at home

Will they do

Ha. I gathered since I am getting no bedroom action I may as well tire myself out in other ways

If I do get lucky then someone will reap the benefits of my exercise so it's win, win.

Eat less than you burn, move more.

You'll lose weight.

Without some form of resistance training, that weight will be roughly half muscle and half fat (which is why a lot of pepole lose weight using cardio/diet only and aren't happy with their subsequent appearance).

I've lost at least 40 lbs in a year. Started off walking every weekday and cutting carbs and calories. Around Christmas I lessened the frequency I went to the gym and quit being quite as strict with my diet but have maintained my weight really well. I've now decided that I want to lose another 10 lbs so I'm back to the gym and strictly watching what I eat. I do want to tone my arms and belly so I think I should add in some weight training but haven't actually done that yet.

I did this and still am. 2 years and 3 1/2 stone gone.

Started by not changing anything in so far as the content of what I ate, simply watched how many calories and limited them to (on average) 1700 to 1900 calories. Doing this I lost about 1lb a month.

After losing a couple of stone I then joined a gym with a personal trainer. Been going for a year and lost the rest. Now I look more at what I eat but I'm not rigid about it.

Can honestly say I've never felt better. To OP - go for it

Vacuum training is that like a high speed Dyson run?

And do you mind me asking what you weigh now?
