Not meeting

I have nothing before I was 12/13. Coming from a military family there was no room for sentiments!!!

I still have Kylie & Jason & Angry Anderson's singles on 7 inch from Christmas 1988 - they are my oldest possessions

When I was three months old I got a stuffed animal of Bambi. I still have him. He is 28 years old. My mother painted his eyes back on a few times when I was growing up and he is wrapped in a small blanket my grandmother crocheted when I was very young.

Funny, I was just talking about him to someone the other day.

Hereabouts

Teddies. Lots of teddies. A few are from before I was born. One was meant to go with my grandad at his funeral when I was little but I kept it and it's been to every funeral with me since. (Sorry, bit morbid).

Got teddies that my sisters have given me. And ones that have been passed down from my aunty and stuff like that.

I have quite a few things... But my most sentmental thing is a silver necklace that my grandad had handmade for me. It's my name spelled out in Egyptian hieroglyphics. And when he gave it to me, in the box was a little carved wooden scarab beetle that he brought home from his days in the army. I still have that too. x

A copy of The BFG in hardback I have had since I was 4. The book is well worn and dog eared and still gets an airing. It's much coveted by my daughter who's paperback copy isnt quite the same.
