Not Growing Up I Am Just Burning Out

Well it's my birthday and iam 26 and well from my 21st it hit me I don't want to get any older.
I still dress and act like iam 21 (up to a point) I don't mean to be rude to any one but I feel like iam going down hill from there.
Maybe I feel I missed out on all the maddness I used to hear about all the nights out and the girls and what so and so did.
But then I think about all I have done how I have changed for the better
I don't live at home and have not for the past 5 years.
I can drive(but don't have a car atm).
I have a job I kindaaaa enjoy (well I have been there close to 10 years).
I have a loving family.
Friends that are like family.
I must have some self confidants if I can look how I do and not be bothered by looks and such.
I think I have grown up a lot in this last year and well had a lot going on and come out the other end so maybe getting older is not that much of a bad thing for me maybe iam just walking my road at my own speed

I have found a few yes but also the little things I do make me feel better helping some one with their shopping or handing in some car keys I found last week small things that make the world a better place |

I thought I had fun in my 20's then I found fab in my later 30's. I've had more fun and partied harder in the last 3 years than ever before. Yes I wake up after a mental weekend driving and think christ I'm too old for this but then the next weekend comes along!!
Life is for living no matter what age. You only get one shot at it. Enjoy every minute.

Decide what you want your life to be and make it happen. If you do that, growing old isn't a problem because you can look back and know you wouldn't have had it any other way.
Maybe you are already happy with where you are. Maybe you're a million miles away from it. But every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
If someone told me at 20 that my life at 30 would be the way it is. Gorgeous open minded girlfriend, settled family life to the outside world, absolute filth behind closed doors, academically satisfied, 100x more confident than when I was young, I'd have laughed at them and said it couldn't happen. Anything can happen. |

If you're not happy with what you've achieved, do something about it!
I have a chronic illness and will need an organ transplant. I'm pretty poorly some days but the good days are the best and I fill my time working through my bucket list!
Life is too short, you need to make the best of it now. I'm only 27 btw. |

it is only during the last couple of years that I have truly come into my own, age and looks wise...
only now do I feel comfortable in my own skin and with my own company (mostly)
as an introvert, I have few friends but lots of acquaintances ..almost all my real friends I have known for over 30 years so they know me and my little idiosyncrasies ...
when I was 26, I was out every night enjoying myself and having fun and that didn't really stop until I was 36, when I made the foolish mistake of getting married...
but if not for that I would not have my boy, so every cloud...
in my life I have seen it, done it and bought the t shirt..so these days I am quite happy to sit back and reflect. even at 51 I am in no way 'burnt out', and I have some fantastic memories and lots more to come, hopefully |

Don't know if I will be going as hard as I do now at 36 but I will try my best and very true hunny if anything this post having having a little poke at myself for feeling old if anything when I go to clubs I am one of the youngist yet some ladies 50+ are doing better then the younger lasses and trust me they know how to wear us guys out lol |

Depending on what is on your bucket list, try and get doing that ie things to do,places you have never been,things you want to try and maybe challenge yourself
I turned 40 2 years back and we'll I still have loads to do on my bucket lists
