Cheshire police locked mobile phone virus has somehow infected my mobile phone and its now frozen. All it does is turn on & off with the page appearing everytime i turn it back on. Any advice how to sort this ?? would beappreciated

Is that the one that accuses you of viewing unsuitable content and asking for money to unlock it?

If so, we had that ages back on our laptop. We took it back to factory settings to get rid of it.

thanks every time i try to go into settings its blocked them grr annoying

depending on the phone there will be a way to restore to factory settings without going into settings.

if my phone goes tits up or the lappy - i just take the battery out and start again - im not very techy but it usually works

thanks yeah thats what i thought ive got a samsung galaxy and dont have instructions to hand silly me. ill google and see what it suggests

yes tried that one great minds think alike. seems the virus is too devious and yep was still on there.

To reset your phone to default factory settings:

Press and hold the following button:

Volume up + Power + Home.

This will bring up a small menu.

Using the volume keys navigate to "Wipe data/Factory reset"

This option should restore your mobile to its default settings.
