We have air con And it's so lovely on days like today.
Mr is working, with his shirt off I expect, up on some scaffolding.
I would be rubbish working outside in this. He loves it though.

You tend to wilt about 2 in the afternoon if your in it.... I'm in the shade and it's still very hard going doing physical work.
People sat at desks don't know the half of it! |

Depends.
I try not to do to much to livestock because gathering in the heat is a bit stressful for them. I was mucking out indoors for a bit today - the barns are about 3 degrees warmer than the outside. that was...sticky. I was in shorts and wellies and naught else.
A mate of mine was baling his hay, cut, turned and baled with a Massey 135 - I like that kind of job in this weather, my big hat (see photo) on, no cab on the tractor.... |

"It's not the working that bothers me, it's the trying to sleep " Agree you can add on another 5 degrees inside at such times no where escapes thunderstorms forecast and all the rain we have had up till recent typical english weather from one extreme to another thou I know what I prefer after this climate. |

"A mate of mine was baling his hay, cut, turned and baled with a Massey 135
Is that better than a Welger? "
I dunno what his baler is actually - I meant the massey was the tractor pulling it.
I'm not sure that the 135 is "better" than much, but is is cheap to run and gets you...er..."close to nature"... |
