Nope. I never worked a job in the US that didn't have air conditioning and I've never worked a job in the UK that did

I can't even open the window because they are doing construction outside and it's so loud

Not me. In a room with widows that don't open with the walls and ceiling now up and ready to skim. (33 degrees and rising)

No air-con, but the advantage of working from home is that clothing is strictly optional.

Wasn't me. I was in an air con supermarket with guide dogs this morning. Then to work work in a kitchen hot on a cold day let alone today
