I know it's not directly swinging related but I just wondered how much down time I'll need!
Anyway, have any of you lovely ladies had the novasure ablation?
I know it's routine & takes 90 seconds but I'm always wary when a general anaesthetic is involved
Thank you x |

I've had ablation twice (as well as other surgeries for endometriodis) under a general anaesthetic - not sure what method though as was more interested in the end result than the actual procedure. Pinning all my hope on a hysterectomy now
As for recovery - I've always had at least 1 week off work. As for sex, we're all different. I had an infection after my last surgery so everything took longer to return to normal.
Good luck, the relief it can give can be so worth it xx

Thanks for that!
This is my last resort before a full hysterectomy so I'm hoping it does the job & I get my life back.
I don't have endometriosis though, mine is unknown haemorrhaging. Been going on 2 years now, even with implanon & noresthisterone |

My body has broken down since last October. I'm on my last prescription of Norethisterone purely because I have my dream holiday on Thursday. Consultant appt on 5 September can't come soon enough.
It's frustrating, more so when you have no idea why!
I hope it brings you some relief so you can reclaim your body & life xx |

Had it 2 1/2 years ago, bit crampy afterwards but not too bad. Took it easy for 48 hours. Ended up with the total hyster in the end, changed my life for the better |
