...Up on the Downs

Well, I got my pack of lovely fresh pak choi out the fridge only to find two little slugs in there who had managed to chomp a hole in nearly every single leaf and put me off the whole thing!!

I had to have boring old salad before my dim sum instead, I'm crying green tears now!!!

That's nothing. I decided to have a go at grow our own a few years ago. Grew some great greens & cabbages. All going well until the day I brought one in for use the next day. It was harbouring caterpillars. They were everywhere & bored through most of the cabbage too

I hate bloody slugs! I think you should complain to the shop where you got the greens from, I got a caterpillar in a pack of frozen Sainsbury's peas once. They told me it was because they harvest more efficiently! It was hard to spot as well, as they blanch the peas (and caterpillar) and then dye them the same colour green.

Oooh yuk! Yes, I shall complain to ocado, it's the first time I have found any fault with their service.

Eww! I don't know what purpose slugs actually serve in all honesty (go on YouTube and type "Karl Pilkington - Sluggage")!

Pity the salad stuff wasn't pre-salted; they'd have thought twice then!

Hope you get a refund at least!

I don't know, my pet snails used to chew through cuttlefish pretty well, those guys will eat anything.
