The final day of the Open Golf should ALWAYS be live on the BBC. I am really disappointed I can't watch it or have to try and avoid the result and watch the highlights.
Maybe we can get it made law as part of brexit |

but the BBC works to the highest standards of quality which require 3 outside broadcast units, a couple of high speed data satellite links running live, about 265 miles of massive cables, 18 scaffolding platforms, several dozen high rise crane platforms, several dozen broadcast quality RGB cameras, backup engineers, reporters, admin staff, managers, directors, editors, sound engineers, light engineers and at least one mori opinion poll.
whereas Sky can achieve much the same with 1 guy, an ipod and a selfie stick.

I have to say I'm thrilled that the golf is finished at Troon. It's been causing terrible delays for people trying to get to and from work or the like. As they've put 30mph speed limits on roads that are normally 50mph-70mph. |

I played it safe, went out for a walk and watched the highlights online tonight. I didn't even want to log in here in case there were score updates.
Bravo Stenson, to score -20 after weather like that is incredible. Nice to have a new winner too even though I like Lefty. |
