As with all procedures there are risks, the drs and nurses will or should advise,
I had my procedure about ten years ago, from that point I've had a constant ache in my left side , like the ache after you've been kicked in your nuts, slight bumps and bangs on my left side can drop me like a stone and an orgasm can be very painful.

The procedure was explained as, the surgeon manipulates both your tubes to the centre of your scrotum and then you will be given the anaesthetic once they are in place. After that an incision is made in the centre and then both tubes are removed using a special tool and cut, can't remember what happens after that my mind started racing away while on the phone |

I have had it doe twice. Once undrr local and when it didnt work, had it redone undrt general.
Apparently you can have more than one tube each side.
I orefer to say you cant keep a good man down.
No side effects either time. No pain. Highly recommended. |

My Brother in Law swore by wearing some tighter than normal boxers afterwards for a day or two.
Other than a tugging sensation and smell of burning he said it was fine. |

"Thank you for all your message people it's been a great help, has anyone experienced having it done the way I described further up the post or did they still go in through both sides. "
I'm pretty sure Bradley had what you describe (he only had one incision scar anyway!).
As others have said, Bradley only mentioned tugging and the smell of burning.
A bit of pain afterwards but he had an excuse to sit down every two hours or so on a bag of frozen peas (to prevent swelling/bruising).
Was back in action after a couple of days. x |

Hubby was done after years ago. He was a bit uncomfortable for a few days, but not in any real pain. There was a single stitch on each side and it surprised me, but he had no bruising.
He had the day after the procedure off work, but was back the day after that and was putting away deliveries and it was business as usual x |

Well I hated it lol
Not pain as such but a real uncomfortable tugging sensation
But we'll worth it in the long run
Defiantly go with the tight underwear maybe even speedos
I didn't and paid for it when they swelled up twice as big as they should be
My own fault though |

"Hi folks well the time has come and date has been set for me to have the snip . We have a very active sex life together and 2 great kids an 11 and 15 year old together so I know I'm doing the right thing by having it done because accidents do happen and we are now at a point in our lives where the kids are starting to get their independence we don't want to start all over again .
Cards on the table I'm bricking it, the procedure was described over the phone which didn't really put me at ease, I'm just looking to see if any others on here has had it done and what to expect other than a whole world of pain "
It's nothing to worry about. Had it done twenty years ago, under local anaesthetic...was a bit strange, but ok. No great pain, just a bit of discomfort for a couple of days. You'll be just fine. |

I get an occasional ache in my right testicle, from scar tissue I'm told, only lasts for a day or two though. |

I had the procedure 10 days ago. Like you I was bricking it. Worried about pain during the procedure, pain after it, long term pain. Loss of sex drive, even worried my volume of cum would be effected.
The worst part of the procedure was the needle, toe curling at worse, apart from that nothing but some slight discomfort.
I took ibuprofen before the op, and then alternated that and paracetamol over two days every 2 hours.
Bag of frozen peas on the old boys for a day, and rest up for 2 days.
No pain at all, again just a little discomfort.
Back to work on Monday no issues. I played football on the second day at work, and I started to ache, so I immediately stopped, all fine in 30 minutes.
I was ready for sex within 48 hours, (no change there either), Dr said I have to give a sperm sample after 26 orgasms, and set the date for end of next month. Recon in half way there already! Lol
Don't Google it, worst thing you can do,, and the Dr does their job by telling you the worst outcomes, but they are very small chances.
You'll be fine
Best of luck |

Only advice I can give and 1000%truthful.
The needle in the balls feels like you have had a good kicking.
Wear pants as they feel like they weigh a ton.
Nothing to it after the needle and it feels like a dull ache.
Best thing I ever did.

My gp has said it's scar tissue touching a nerve, .. it's an invasive procedure and there are risks however small. |
