I've felt naturally prejusdiced against him for decades. Think it was the smug self love pretentious angle as someone suggested above.
But I've got to admit....
the guy can CROOON!
Bloody sharp suited too.
I think this Damascus like conversion came about while listening to his musics on the radio instead of having to watch the great prancing tit on the box.
Plus he worked with Eno, so all is fine. |

For his music.....looking like a spiv doesn't stop your music/singing being ok. He always reminded me of Private Waljer from Dads army.
Always expected him to open his jacket and try to sell me some nylon stockings or knock off American cigs! |
