Inspired by the Danny Baker show on the wireless , five live .
I have been a fan for years , a regular feature is the Sausage Sandwich Game.
A sports star is asked random questions , two contestants have to guess the answer.
The last question always is.
You are presented with a gorgeous sausage sandwich , its a thick and juicy sausage the butter melting into the bread , so what do you reach for ? The red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all.
So how about you ?

Well now this is the thing, we have square sausages in our house but for me regardless of what shape the sausage is, it will always be and forever Red sauce. No competition |

Slice the bun down the middle, butter the inside and toast in the pan... Place some rocket on the base with 80% lean beef sausages, with fried onions and mushrooms on top add a fried egg with "Red" sauce on the lid of the bun and bob's your uncle... That's the bombay baby!

It can only be red sauce, anything else is a crime against humamity.

Wipes sauce from the corner of my mouth, takes a mouthful of coffee and responds to thread..A sausage sandwich on fresh, thick white bread, proper butter and just a little drop of brown sauce please. Yum! |
