Pakistan's version of 'Kim Kardashian' has been strangled to death in an 'honour killing' by her own brother whilst they celebrated Eid as a family

A contraversial character but no doubt a hero to some people who want more free speech. Sad ending.

Ah 'honour killings' - an oxymoron if I've ever heard one. Sad news.

Muslims eh? What a great bunch of guys. Certainly forward thinking. I think we can all be proud of them. Personally I hope the religion gains popularity in the west bringing with it it's enlightened thinking.

Because in Pakistan a womans next of kin can forgive thier murderer

So honour killings ordered by the family go unpunished because the family forgives them

Honour killings under sharia law allow the family to forgive the perpetrator therefore he will receive no punishment for the crime committed.

As these type of killings are often carried out by a male relative they forgive.

Lovely. Forgiveness indeed. The world can certainly learn a thing or to from Islam. Friend of mine who works in Saudi was telling me how a woman was stoned to death for child abuse. So not all bad. She was guilty of not sending her son to,essentially Sunday school. Clearly deserved all she got.
