Spoke with my parents they were in bed blissfully unaware, they live in toplar south of turkey in a little village, they are going to speak with locals and update later x |

I am reading that it was a fake coup, staged by Erdogan to make him look like a victim, claim more 'democratic' power and put more of his stranglehold over media and opposition.
I wouldn't trust him not to. |

A minority didn't like the result of a democratic vote and decided they wanted to change it.
Glad we are much more civilised and would never consider trying to question the result of a majority vote in the U K  |
