I do pretty much drink most things .

I love wine , beer and cider but my weapon of choice is rum! Good quality rum not your asda 13 squid stuff although I'm not no connoisseur so would still drink it hell I'll drink terps if it gets me pissed (I'm now sounding like an alcoholic and digressing)

Anyway what's everyone's perfect tipple?

I recently discovered that too many Long Island ice teas can cause complete memory loss of an entire evening

Never tried that although it's cold tea I might find it goes against the grain .

Would give it a go though .

Love a cocktail though

If you are talking cocktails then a Long Slow Comfortable Screw Against the Wall......has got to be the one to ask the sexy barmaid for. But with 4 shots of spirits in it it doesn't take many to forget why you are drinking them!

I love all the elaborate names for cocktails ....usually full on sexual innuendo or straight to the point .

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I like Moscow Mules, Bellinis and Magaritas.

I rarely drink though so my alcohol tolerance is low.

White or dark rum? I'm not keen on white but love syrupy dark rums - Woods Navy being at the top of the list.

There are some great malt whiskies but it's no good listening to advice on which one, they're so different it's a matter of individual taste.

I love Leapfrog (Laphroaig), many hate it.

There is no tea in a Long Island, just a lot of alcohol if made correctly.

In terms of cocktails I love Lynchburg Lemonade.

But I prefer spirits particularly bourban, spiced rum and my 3 favourite men Jim, Jack and Johnny!!

No cold tea, just stick 1 shot of vodka, gin, white rum, tequila and cointreau in a tall glass with ice and pour in a little cola so it looks the colour of tea.

Finish it off with a good squeeze of lemon juice and a stir, eh voila!

I can't even smell Pernod and the like now without feeling ill.

Tequila is only just drinkable these days.

But I still like Baileys even though I had my worst ever d*unken night on it (1 1/2 bottles plus beer and wine). I was sick in my bathroom and when I revisited it the next day it looked and smelt like a yoghurt bomb had gone off in a brewery.

A decent Gin and Tonic, slice of cucumber and crushed raspberries.

Failing that, a glass of Rose

Cider usually mixed berries or just raspberry.

As for cocktails Ladykiller is devine

Pernod is one of those as soon as I see the bottle it makes me shiver so not keen.

Probably drink it when hammered though.

Who remembers the mad dog 20/20 and white lighting days of their youth?

Worse thing was waiting outside the shop and waiting then "excuse me sir would you buy me some alcohol"

the amount of people that did was alarming

Not mad dog 20/20 but certainly white lightning "

Happy with a nice chilled glass of Sancerre anyday.

A Tequila Sunrise is always a winner too.

Pint - Guinness

Shot - Jameson

Long Drink - Gin & Tonic

Cocktail - Old Fashioned.

All four in the same night if I'm feeling particularly bold.

All I seem to drink lately is rhubarb gin, with a shot of vanilla vodka, topped up with lemonade and loads of crushed ice - like a giant liquid rhubarb and custard sweet in a glass.
