Morning all,

Beauty is a very strange thing, it's entirely subjective and we can only see beauty through our own lens. I spend a lot of my time in search of things that I think are beautiful.

I just wanted to share this, it made me smile.

Flashmob Performs 'Here Comes the Sun'

Please also feel free to share the things that you find beauty in.

Peace and love y'all.

I tend to get easily distracted by beauty. Actually, it's probably the other way round - life gets in the way of seeing the beautiful, but sometimes I remember to stop for it; it's actually there all the time.

I stop for beauty when I hear a buzzard's cry from overhead, and just take some time to watch them spiralling higher and higher; I stop for beauty when the sun hits the leaves on the trees on the other side of the road just right; I stop for beauty when just a tiny fraction of my view aligns just so in a perfect act of serendipitous composition.

"What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare? –

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,

And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can

Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare."

Oh I know, I watch a lot of "danger" wild life programmes that spend a lot of time looking at spiders and some are so beautiful. One of my friends keeps exotic pets and she's raising some new spiders at the minute. They were so weeny when she got them when they were three weeks old, but perfectly formed teeny spiddies

Exactly how I feel about the sea. I can't swim, and when I was at university I used to walk away from the town up to the end of the beach at night and just stare out over the waves and up at the stars. I was right on the cusp of my domain, as far as I could go, gazing at the beauty of moonlit waves and wheeling constellations. There's a strangely poignant beauty too in standing on the edge of your limitations, peering into the unknowable void beyond.

The piece of classical music that made me realise as a teenager that it was worth listening to too. The first version of it I heard was Ed Alleyne-Johnson's on his purple electric violin (he played fiddle for New Model Army). I played it to my mum and dad and they were amused, then played me the original on a record of theirs.

Incidentally, if you're ever in York of Chester and Ed is busking, do yourself a favour and put your life on hold for a few minutes to listen to him. He's an incredible musician.

"Morning all,

Beauty is a very strange thing, it's entirely subjective and we can only see beauty through our own lens. I spend a lot of my time in search of things that I think are beautiful.

I just wanted to share this, it made me smile.

Please also feel free to share the things that you find beauty in.

Peace and love y'all.

The first of cup of tea is always the best, you immediately want another..

Birdsong, feeling the grass between your toes, getting lost in a good book

I think mindfulness is what I'm talking about. Best of all, most of these things are free

Very beautifully put.

Getting lost in a good book is one of life's finest pleasures"

Thank you kindly

It's poetry for me. Which can appear incongruous to some people as I'm a massive rugby playing ex-boxer complete with the look that brings with it.

Not really my type of poetry but interesting. Didn't agree with it all though! In effect saying only men are affected by media stereotypes? Really? Tell that to a million lasses suffering from anorexia.

I didn't agree with it all either but I despise the phrase 'Man up' myself and I thought it was an interesting take. He misses the mark but some of the points he make are very good.

Nice one!

There was a young lady called Specs,

Who looks great with no keks,

She liked it on here,

Which some thought quite queer,

But she has a big thing about sex.

Does that count as published?

just back from a beautiful wander with Pooch on the Great Orme , the wind was wild and wuthering , felt rather good to be out and be alive ,

the last rays of the sun broke through the clouds , giving a crimson shimmer to the sky,. The mountains bracing them selves against the darkening skies

heaven

Eternal Bliss

Everything is such an enigma

Problems came and went

Seeing nothing, hearing no-one,

Looking as if I could see.

My mind would follow you and me

As we entwined in our eternal bliss.

I remember the time that we first kissed,

Seeing you wandering in my mind.

I can't find you - you're still left behind.

Seeing into darkness, calling out your name,

I want to hold you, close,in my final life,

Want to see your true self, not an illusion,

Not just flesh and bone.

This is my last and final breath

As we entwine in our eternal bliss.

Pooch and I sit on our hill most evenings. We sit and marvel as the sun melts into the sea . The sky a crimson red . Its our personal heaven, a great place and opportunity to sit and reflect on our day
