So, since no one here has mentioned it, or may not be aware, earlier today Prince Harry did one of those live Facebook things as he had a live online HIV test.
The results of the test can be much quicker than in the past.
Also, this week, a huge HIV study called the PARTNER Study, found that HIV positive people on medication and with an undetectable viral load (meaning that while there is no cure for HIV, it is so significantly impacted by medication it cannot be detected in blood tests), will not pass the virus on.
The best thing everyone can do is get tested. I know people don't want to think about these things so much, but it REALLY IS better to know.
Stop the stigma!

I can imagine that Harry had received an earlier test result, as a surprise positive result could have had major consequences.
I agree on HIV positive people being unfairly stigmatised, as they can be understandable choices as partners for many, due to low risks, when the virus is managed. We have a long way to go, to banish the hate that's been around for too long. |

"There have been more HIV threads today than we've had in a month.
Yes, get tested.
They multiply rapidly if un moderated.
Why should they be moderated?"
It was a play on the word "medicated" RE viral infections. |
