There are some deluded nut cases out there.
It's an urban myth that any civilisation as a whole EVER thought the earth to be flat. Even the ancient Egyptians knew it was round....as did any evidence of ancient civilisations.
Columbus was trying to sail AROUND the earth to find a faster route to the "Indies" and he found the West Indies so what was previously known as the Indies had to be renamed the East Indies.
Most flat Earth societies exist as a joke..... |

Actually do, I'm going for a lie on my bed a bit. "
Need a hand in that bed...I know you are a bit far away but I can get there real quick
You just have to know how to fold Britain.

There appears to be evidence that the flath earth believing people exist.
That there is an extraordinary amount of evidence that the earth is not flat suggests that these people are somewhat deluded, or have other motives to promote their 'beliefs'. Of course, they may just be stating this to be oppositional to others, seeking attention. |

I went to the David icke shoe 3 weeks ago in Brixton and you know what I enjoyed his show and it makes you think about who and where we are and I have read up on the flat earth theory and it's good but not real. |

Prothletise! Had to look that fucker up. I'd rather they didn't. Flat Earth Jehovas coming to your door in pairs is a scary thought.
And no no problem bro. Got to admire your mojo.

"I belieave they exist too ....aswell as 20% of a great nation I won't mention think Joan of arc was Noah's wife ... "
I remember a survey a few years ago (I forget the exact age group) where a similar percentage thought Adolf Hitler played for Bayern Munich and Winston Churchill was a Jamaican rapper. |

It's all shite;
He is not very clever; but like all these nut jobs and attention seekers; he sprinkles a few real facts into his crap; that makes the gullible believe : since " that bit is true, then the rest must be".

If they think Hitler is Bayerns midfield linchpin then I'm sure the subtle difference would also have been lost on them. |

That's quite correct, the worst purveyors of this flat earth were most of the religions who held on to their "beliefs" in the good book!.
