I was stuck behind a delivery van today that was obviously lost. Instead of pulling over to check directions, he kept pulling in and out into the traffic causing chaos. Nearly took out a couple of cars, then finally vee_ed off in front of a car, no indicating to his destination. Knob! |

Ha ha..I feel your pain!
Trouble is what annoys me about driving is almost every other driver on the road...they just aren't as good as me!
Which is a bit of a pity cos I am on the road quite a lot in a hi_ed white van.
My road range is tongue in cheek...I rarely get really angry...in fact I had my daughter in the van the other day and she was laughing her socks of at my commentry..caught her trying to record me on her phone.

My bug bears are:
People who try to join motorways at 40mph.
People who swerve across three lanes of traffic to just make an exit.
Queue jumpers.
Having to drive at all. |

Old people, Yesterday was behind an old driver who tried to overtake a bicycle on a blind bend, inches away from a head on crash !!
There should be some sort of retest during later years to ensure your still capable of driving |

Where do I start
Idiots that don't use headlights in bad weather, even if you can see where you're going, others may not see you coming
People that overtake just before they cut you up to come off at the next exit
I could go on |

Not necessarily a retest but some sort if physical and mental assessment should be in place. There are people with dementia still driving.
And eye tests should be compulsory fir all drivers every 2 or 3 years |

Oh so so many things...
Cyclists outside of cities. I can make my peace with them in cities, traffic is slow anyway and they make sense. But I live most of the time in the country. Riding 3 abreast, _educing traffic flow down to 15mph when noone can get past you, no. Legitimately consider giving them a nudge every time it happens.
Trucks using routes that are fundamentally unsuitable for the size of their vehicle and holding everyone up.
People travelling at well below the posted speed limit for no apparent reason, often in perfect road conditions. Followed an Audi A4 Allroad today on a perfect summers day, 60mph A road, at times he was down to 20mph. That road can be traversed in my understeer happy diesel at 70 comfortably. If you can't maintain at least a reasonable speed in good conditions god help you come the winter.
Old folk dithering about. Often related to the previous point. No indication, no concept of how roads actually work, completely blind to roadsigns (or just blind full stop) fond of pulling out onto major roads at a speed only glacier scientists can perceive. Over 65s need to be retested.
Lorry drivers playing elephant racing, hogging two lanes often of a two lane motorway slowly measuring which of them has the more accurate speed limiter. Get the fuck over, you cretin.
People who have no idea what a motorcycle looks like. They have heard of them but when one is approaching a junction they must mistake it for a badger or something because they sure as shit don't recognise it, or appreciate its speed, or how dangerous it is to pull a bike up at short notice.
People who can't be decisive about lanes. Get in, or out. The white line isn't a scalectrix runner.
That's all I can think of right now... |

As a regular on the giant car park that is the M25, I have witness some things that made me realise I have shocking road rage and swear words I didn't even know existed!!
My biggest thing is this: I am one of these nice drivers when in a jam, I leave a very large gap between me and the car in front but oh no, the fucktard that pull into said gap because they think we are going faster than everyone else, only to change lanes again and again.
Cars and vans driving down the hard shoulder, why?! What happeneds if their is a car broken down?!
Women (mainly) using the dash as a foot rest, do they not realise that if you get into an accident you will be serverly hurt?!
Drivers that pull off at a junction and then rejoin the bloody jam!!!
Bastard motorbikes that can carry on with their journeys without to much fuss (ok that isn't a bad thing I know!)
Cars that are in any other lane apart from the slow lane that think it's ok still to do 50-60 miles an hour and slow everyone else down! Do they not realise I have a cock waiting for me the other side of the fucking bridge?!
And why o why is it that a journey that should take me an hour and fifteen mins always takes me nearly two hours now?! The other day at 2pm I joined at Swanley and was stuck their for two hours because the fucking tunnels were closed!!!!!
I think that's it for now

Riding 2 abreast is the right way, it's easier to overtake 4 bikes like that then if they are in single file, that's if you understand the safe distance that should be used when passing a cyclist. Personally driving does my head in. |

Stop knocking us old drivers.I have seen more accidents caused by young drivers trying to queue jump just to gain a couple of yards.Myself I treat every other driver as an idiot by staying 4 cars lengths away from the guy in front. If someone jumps into that space I just move 4 cars lengths back again.
Patience is the one thing that young and middle aged people don't have today. The reason insurance is so sky high today is because its the below 50 drivers that have had the majority of accidents. |

few
cyclists in the middle of the road
if your at a round about, two lanes one for left and across, other lane is right, people cutting into the other lane so they can skip the queue and push back into the across lane, happens to me daily
road is 60, car in front wants to do 30-40 all the way or 50,30,45,30,50,25,45.
now car parks
annoying driver mostly bmw and audi or mercedes who cannot park within there lines,
drivers who do not have child in the car parking in child spaces or disabled spaces.
list goes on.
lately getting annoyed with lorry drivers.
when in road works and each lane have speed cameras all the way, truck behind wants you to drive over the speed limit, finally they pass you then you over take them again shortly when road works are over. |

For the past number of days my journeys for work purposes, have been hampe_ed by a temporary change in speed limit within my area and surrounding roads into the area because of the Golf.
It's a bloomin pain in the bottom having to drive at 30mph on stretches of road that are normally 50-70mph. |

Because it takes a lot of effort and fuel going from 50-47-43-46-44-49-43-42-44 in a truck when you're behind a tool in a car who can't set cruise control or keep a steady speed. If you want to sit below 50, fine, just keep it steady.

Middle lane hoggers are a giant pain in the arse and it can be dangerous on occasions.
My particular one is people who drive at 40-50 whatever the speed limit. I drove for 35 miles on an A-road in the very early morning recently. It's an endless sequence of villages interspersed with 60 mph stretches. I had a guy right up my arse in every 30mph and I'd leave him for dust as soon as we reached the 60mph. |

assholes who turn left (or right) from the middle lane on the approach to an island.
People who think they are good drivers. Invariably they are over confident muppets with points on their license.
People who can not seem to understand how to use 4 lane motorways
Middle lane hogs especially the type that see you overtaking and speed up. (My car only had a top speed of 86mph when it came out of the factory. 30 years on flat out I can just touch 80) so I pull back in and they slow down to fucking 55 again.
Wankers on the phone.
Oh and women never flash their boobs at me. That is very irritating |

1. People who don't know the width of their own car and keep pulling in behind park cars to give way and priority to oncoming traffic when the road clearly fits every fricking car.
2. People who are clearly uncomfortable driving a car and are a danger to themselves and other road users.
3. People who sit on the outside lane on any Motorway at 72mph and do not pull in when there is clearly a faster car behind them. It's not upto the person in front to police the speed of the person behind. The outside lane is an over taking lane. So if you are not over taking, tuck the fuck back into the middle lane.
Rant over.... sorry this post has literally got me rather upset |

People who do the same speed, whatever the limit it is. For example, only the other day, I overtook a car doing 45-50 in a 60 zone, only for them to catch me up in a 30 zone and tailgate me, as if I was holding them up now after passing them... |

People who pull out on me.
3 times yesterday on the 10 miniute drive home people pulled out on me.
Each time i was at the back of a que of traffic with nothing behind me.
Its like jesus christ what do you gain by forcing your way out infront of me forcing me to break when you could have just waited the extra 5 seconds and pulled out onto a completley empty road |

Fog lights on in clear conditions.
Hazard warning lights on moving vehicles.
People who think indicators give you priority.
People who keep their footbrake on in front of you, causing glare with brake lights!!
Tailgaters. |

Also the entire road network around Greater Manchester. Utter balls. Oooh, and whilst I'm on a roll, those flipping signs along the side of the road saying "my daddy works here"; well if he does he's blooming jolly well invisible because I've not seen a single soul along here for months!
Thank you. I feel a little better now, that was quite cathartic. |

Ignorant twats who drive right up your arse in the fast lane, even though you're overtaking (at speed I might add) and literally *can't* move back into the left lane because there's no space to do so safely .... and then they bloody well flash you just to compound their arrogant twattiness and oh-so-importantness because obviously the road belongs to them and them alone and I guess you're supposed to put your car into Harrier jump jet mode to get out of their way or something ...
People who *stop* right in the middle of the road to have a bloody *chat* with the mate they've just spotted walking along because clearly the rest of us aren't going anywhere and can just sit there for 5 minutes ...
Nissan Micra drivers - who, in my experience, are disproportionately represented in the 'utterly stupid' group .... like going round a roundabout the wrong way, going past a 30mph speed camera at 15mph 'just in case', and managing to take up two parking spaces even though they're so small.

People who go crazy and overreact when someone makes a mistake in front of them....you have issues !! Besides you probably made the same mistake earlier. |

"People on their mobile phones. I don't give a fuck if your at traffic lights and sending a text I will be taking your wing mirror off. Or minimum a bollocking."
I used to work in Tewkesbury, lost count how many times I sat on the slip road and watched people in front and behind texting and a friend of mine actually saw some woman putting her make up on, on the slip road joining the motorway |

So much of today is wrong.
Lack of respect and thoughtfulness is mostly at its core.
No indication, just shoving in as they see fit. Lane hoggers. People who claim a lane more than half a mile before its needed, including non-overtaking and just parallel driving.
Driver looking at passenger, instead of the road, inevitably going slow. People who don't drive at the speed of the road.
Texters and those who use phones.
Pushy, aggressive drivers. |

Im quite a defensive drivers, always scanning for potential hazards. What annoys me the most is people who tail-gate. Secondary to that is the non-indicators. |

Too much traffic, full stop. West Wales is far more restful. I feel like I am in a car advert on the beautiful, empty A roads...I really start to love driving again when there. |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
Those who believe that the inside lane is only for lorries and insist on sitting in lane two or even three with a clear motor way infront of them and a mass of traffic behind them getting frustrated!! But of course they wouldn't realise as mirrors are only for looking at themselves! |

The woman who pulled out on me near the station in Skeggy yesterday.
If your that woman driving a blue focus road markings on a junction your pulling out of usually mean stop you do not have the right of way.
If by chance there had been a car coming in the outside lane I wouldn't have been able to react so quickly at you being a twatwaffle showing off and you would have hit me.
And chances are I would if I could have got out of my car and hit your nose with my first.
I'm sure the chap in the Alfa at the junction up the road would have felt the same when you pulled across in front of him without indicating to make your turning too.

One of first rules of Highway Code is 'keep to left unless overtaking '. I just wonder who all the knob eds are that clog up the middle lane? Coz every driver with a view on said subject all say thats single most annoying thing about driving !! The same ppl would be screaming blue murder if lane 1 was coned off thus causing delays in their journey time, yet they are effectively doing the same by sitting in centre lane oblivious to anything going on around them !! Think about it... |

Impatient, arrogant drivers who think they are the only one's on the road. Usually only look two feet in front of their bonnet.
Rather than reading the road and seeing what's happening ahead, besides and behind.
Usually the worst driver's on the road and the biggest complainers. |

"SLOW drivers hogging the fast lane "
Think you will find that the speed limit is the same across all lanes of a motorway there is no fast or slow lane. |

Every mobile chicane on the road, sorry car, van, lorry. They keep getting in the way when I am trying to enjoy the bike, they hold you up on your favourite set of twisty roads, cause congestion, take up far oo much room on the roads. |
