Sorry to hear this mate. I Jez was made redundant in 2012 from Comet so know how it feels. On the up side there are jobs out there if you look. I got a new job literally a week after for a big pub chain and I'm actually a lot happier. Good luck mate |

" Just found out been made redundant....let's have some pick me up messages and suggestions lol "
New beginning, college, girls relive your youth. I feel your pain ive been threatened with redundancy for years, nature of my work. Finally came true in January but I have till November. Im worried about money/work but ultimately excited to push myself into something else. |

Sorry to hear that ... I was made redundant after 21 years with the same company .., a little unsettling at first but it's been the best thing for me. Gave me the kick up the arse to try something new. Good luck & see it as a new adventure xx |

Beyond the shadows. |
sometimes redundancy can be a good thing especially if you got a good redundancy package. It'll allow you to go do something you've always wanted to but never felt you could do before because you didn’t want to give us the security of your job before. |

If its a substantial payment the first £30k is tax free.
If you haven't got a job to go to immediately you must sign on, to keep your NI contributions up.
Youre entitled to the allowances too.
Start looking now for jobs, and good luck!
