Philosophy on life

I know fab has some colourful and openinated minds so this could be interesting

My philosophy on life is that I only concern myself with issues I can have a direct impact on and if it is anything else I choose not to worry about it because it would take up a lot of my time trying to make a impact

The way I see it is I only get one life and I want my life to be about smiling and laughing as much as possible. I do not want to burden myself with issues I can not solve or swap my self down with other peoples problems as I only have one life and I want to extract the most from it

People may say well if everyone thought like you then the world would be ransacked and everybody would be getting bent over and maybe so

But another way I see it is no matter what happens what we argue for today or tomorrow we are always going to be having the same argument about suppression, discrimination and the lack equality. It might manifest its self as a argument about racism or argument about the living wage, about taxes, immigration, religion, war, euthanasia and gay rights and so on.....

I honestly think why we are rules under capitalism these topics and arguments to make people disagree between one another, to make them not get on and blind them from synchronising in harmony to work towards the bigger picture of equality to a certain extent, then why should I bog myself down with 100s of issues that will never get solved because to solve it everyone has to truly unite but we let our difference get in the way

Should I just not enjoy my life and except that it is a pattern in nature especially human nature to exploit your fellow man and be greedy and if you look back in time these has always happened

My philosophy is "be kind while there is still time"

I was in a and e with my mum and dad last night after mum had a fall, a lady came and gave my 89 year old dad half the sandwich she had been given because she said he was going to need it. She made a small but significant difference and that's all most of us can reasonably hope for.

Brighton - even Hove!

I don't have a philosophy per se, I'm lead a great deal by work and family, so in that respect, I'm like bamboo, strong but bends to the wind to live another day. I try not to get stressed over things I have no control over. It can take a long time to get into that mindset.

'As above, so below' works remarkably well.
