Was talking to a guy today who told me that his dog is recovering from mastitus and ulcerated teats. She's just has a litter of pups and lost all her milk, and they feared the worse for the pups.
But a near miracle happened.
He has an older bitch, actually the mother of the one who's just had the pups, and she's taken over looking after them.
Yes, granny is being mum to 6 pups and making a damn good job too, while real mom gets better.
