Its about a year now since i started the menopause and have to say the symtoms are not as bad as they where to begin with, i may just be going through a lucky phase, but i have the mirina coil that also works as hrt so that might be helping. Sweats where a nightmare have to say to start with but fingers crossed yours will calm down |

"diamond i do hope so, my doc would prefer me not to go on hrt if possible so gonna try and ride the storm on this one for now"
I know you can go to a herbilist and there is something they can give you, someone recommended it to me but i forgot the name but i think you can get it from any herbalist |

I've been perimenopausal for eight years. Every month I hope it will be over...sadly no! It continues.
The things I've suffered I didn't even know were part and parcel of the menopause. It's the breaking down in tears that I've found the most distressing as I'm crying over utter rubbish!
I was watching the news and some footballer, playing for some team, fell over and was taking a penalty in some match. He missed and he looked so sad I started crying for him!
I've taken off loo rolls, put the full roll in the bin and put the empty one back on...thank God the hot flushes stopped. I was with a playmate over night, woke up to find him mopping my back I was sweating so much I'd soaked the bed. I removed the electric blanket off my bed as I thought I'd electrocute myself i was sweating so much.
Wretched time...and it could last 10...fricking...years! |

I used to think 'oh menopausal women, give it a rest for fuck sake'
Then last year my thyroid created havoc with my hormones. I became this sort of menopausal man. My moods were all over the place. over emotional, moody as fuck, ranting and raving, its settled down now thankfully
I wouldn't wish it on anyone (except for the(male) doctor who told me I had 'situational depression' til he saw my bloods. what a prick |
