Cropredy in August is our only big festival this year. Going to a small folk festival in Shropshire this weekend

(....that's a folk festival which isn't very big, not a festival for small folk... although that's not to say small folk would get turned away... I'll shut up now!!

Hello Cable Guy,

We will be back at Cropredy again this year, I trust the weather will improve by then, it usually is fine?

Alec

Wirral

I'd rather eat my own shit than go to a festival! Weird I know but everything about them makes me feel grossed out. Grass/mud everywhere (hate grass, weird phobia) toilet situation, grubby people with dirty hair, I'm sure they're not half as bad as I imagine but you couldn't pay me to go!

Festival No6 in Portmeirion. We've been every year. We don't usually do festivals but this one is different as it has a picturesque village, a forest and a beach!! It's our main holiday each year.

I went last year, it was amazing, missed loads of things I'd love to have seen.

Hoping to go again just to see Hot Chip really.

Hoping for last minute guestlist for Leeds, it's worked the last 2 years so fingers crossed!

I'll try and not break my hand the week before it this year though

I've been to them all too. It's not perfect by a long way, but I love the place - have done since I was five.

I don't actually see a huge amount of stuff - my favourite things to do are hang out at the viewpoints or stand by the entrance for hours on the first day watching/listening to people's reactions as they see it for the first time!

It could well be a solo mission this year. If anyone fancies saying "hi" to a waffling Welsh idiot, that'd be lovely. Not looking for anything other than conviviality of course .
